    Hi,

    I grabbed the child theme, downloaded and activated it. However, rather than inheriting the modifications I made to my install of TC E-commerce shop pro, it basically overwrites it and resets it back to stock.

    I thought a child theme was supposed to inherit everything about the parent.

    Sorry. Another never-mind. I managed to export the customizer options in the parent theme, and re-import them into the child them. That seems to do the trick.

    Hi,

    Child Theme is basically used to add your own functions and add CSS according to your requirement.

    You can add or create new sections accordingly by using hooks as a function in your function.php file

    Hi,

    You can remove those section from the Appearance -> Customize -> Theme settings -> Open the section you want to disable. And check the radio button to disable.

    I selected the E-Commerce theme and was working in WordPress when I noticed a “Go Pro” button.  I read about the upgrade and was expecting to pay for that, not a bundle of different themes.  After I saw a $70ish charge on my bank card, I realized my error, logged back in and purchased what I originally planned to buy, the $39 add-ons.  I have not downloaded the product and would like a refund for the bundle product.

    Hello,

    I selected to upgrade from E Commerce to E Commerce Pro. The download includes a pro .zip; a child .zip and a widget. What is the difference between the child file and pro file? Both are available for activation, and I keep switching between the 2, however I do not understand the differences.

    Also, how do I modify the details in the tab ( email address, etc.). There is a default email of “abc@themescaliber,” however I cannot find where to enter my information.

    Hello,

    Nothing that I have entered in the Site Identification section is displaying. I have uploaded a small logo; I have a tagline; I have a site title; I have published my entries and nothing displays. The site identification section is blank.

    Please help!

    Hi,

    The Email address and the cell number you can change from contact [age section. Go to Appearance -> Customize -> Theme Settings -> scroll to bottom “Contact page” section.

    Either you can upload a logo or add the title and subtitle.

    Hi,
    I have just installed your “tc-ecommerce-shop” theme on one of my website, I was very impressed to see the demo site, but got disappointed to not succeeding the design on my site as per your demo.
    Since your front page design is based on the Custom Home Page template, I can’t use any page builder content on the home page, its a great limitation I feel. So I’m to be stick to your custom home page template. But the problem is I can’t even getting your options which are supposed to be built in the theme customization settings (as shown below images found on your documentation pages at https://themescaliber.com/doc/tc-ecommerce-shop-documentation/), they are not present in my theme settings. What actually I’m missing???
    If I don’t get these options neither I can design my site as your demo design nor I will be able to use page builder content for design!
    This is really puzzling situation. Hope you can give an idea to solve this issue.

    The feature you have seen in documentation is for premium.
    For a free theme, there is a limited option given if you want to design your site perfect.

    I purchased and installed the E-Commerce Pro theme. In the support documentation, to change the header email and phone number, users are directed to “Header” section to change the defaults. I have no “Header” section; I only have a “Top Bar” section, and there is no text box available for changing the default email and telephone number.

    What am I missing? How do I change that portion of the site? I see where to enter social media links, however there is no place to enter my email address and/or phone number.

    Please help!!!

    Hi Kelly,

    1. We have released a refund from our side. It will take 7-10 days to process. Wait till Tuesday and check your credit card statement simultaneously. If it will not process till Tuesday we will add a ticket over 2 checkouts for the issue.

    Hi,

    As per your query, we are giving you some easy steps to get the option to change Email and Phone number.

    Go to Dashboard >> Appearance >> Customize >> Theme Settings >> Contact Page >> You will get option to change the email and phone number >> Publish.
